Default FYI, H9 Cap 1/3 scale

Im running into a possible problem, and wanted to share with you guys. I just overcome this situation with my Patrick 300, and Im revisiting on my H9 Cap 1/3 scale. The H9 Cap 1/3 scale is supposed to be designed for the Rocket city hardware, and have hard points already installed. Upon drilling for my Rocket city hardware on my elevators, I noticed that the elevators only have a hard point on the bottom! Nothing but soft balsa on the top! This is discouraging, as I went ahead and ripped off the covering to do it right! I added a ply plate to the top of the elevators, so the screw has something hard to secure it. There is not much "meat" in there between the top and bottom plate, so Im curious if anyone else has made this mod? Even my Patrick extra, had a hard balsa block, and a piece of ply on the bottom of the surfaces. I then added a hardpoint to the top, but they were originally designed for other hardware. The H9 Cap is designed for or is recommended for the Rocket city hardware. Anyway, after looking at my ailerons, it seems they are the same. I have not pulled any covering from the ailerons yet though. Anyway, just wanted to get peoples thuoghts who have this Cap, and what or any mods were made. Or....... did yours come with hardpoints top and bottom???
