The speed contol would plug directly into the receiver but I'm not sure if there are other things like the gun that use a servo. I would think that info would be in the instruction. You might contact Tamiya.

You might also check out the Hitec Laser 4 http://www.hitecrcd.com/Radios/laser4_75.htm , it has more features than the Skysport and sells for about $120.
