Default Basics for everyone

Ok people lets get down to basics here. I seen lots of crying and wimpering on how I bought this airplane and it sucks, or i crashed it on it's first flight. Don't buy this or that. Try this and and that. This plane would'nt fly if it was on a rope. Well boo hoo.. If you are a beginner, a newbe, a rookie, new to the plan start with an airpane you can fly. A trainer. No one I know started out as top gun ace. Learn to fly. Learn the basics of flight. Don't go for the big guns airplane. P51s, corsairs, twin jets, multi engine planes. Learning to fly is not like riding your bike. Fly a airplane that can fly itself.A trainer. An airplane that will self correct and remain stable in the air. It does'nt have to have a 100 inch wingspan or the biggest baddest engine it just has to fly. It gets you started out on the right foot instead of stumbling around wondering what to do. You got time to react and think and get it right. If your freinds rib u so what. This can be a very expensive hobby and why waste your cash. This is a very fun and relaxing hobby for most of us so lets come down to earth here. Always precheck your airplanes controls. Make sure everything works and in th right direction. Believe me nothing will end your day faster than control reversel.. Check your center of gravity. If it's wrong, correct it. Make sure your engine is tuned and running properly. If your new get help. no one will bite your head off. We all needed help at one time. Most if not all clubs have very experienced people to get you off to a good start. Electric powered, make sure your battery is fully charged and give the engine combo a test run to give you a time of duration. How long it will take to run out of charge. FOR EVERYBODY BASICS.
When you launch your airplane what are the first things to happen? Come on now lets all think here....... Times up. What happens first is sudden lose of speed. What are the results?... times running out. Lose of altitute. You don't have much to biginwith so u need all you can get right from the start. DOnot forceably climb because why?...when you climb you lose airspeed and? you decend into the ground boom! Whats next?.... Times up. torgue roll. which way will it roll. opposite the engine rotation. How to correct. Ok here's the tricky part. Most trainers will not show a great deal of roll on takeoff. They are designed that way to give you a good chance at a successfull flight. No surprizes but. If you need to correct for mild torque roll use your rudder control. Easily. Alittle on the control is all you need. If you have sudden extreme roll. use yor aileron controls to level yourself out. Then adjust for level flight. Trim. Sounds easy and it will be with time.. How do you prepare for a first flight. Well you do not go and fling your new airplane into the air right out of the box Like so many of you seem to be doing with the PZ P-51 and then crying cause it went down like a stone. You have got to make sure everything is correct. I mean everthing. Set the center gravity. nuetrel your controls. adjust the ailerons and elevator and rudder to their nuetral positions. Use a straight edge for these adjustments. Then think! What is going to happen as soon as I release this plane from my hand and it is on it's own. Is there anything to do to prevent a crash before it happens. Any questions??? Feel free to ask.
