And one more thing: Tapered trailinge edge surfaces require less force to deflect than blunt ones, all else equal. This means less wear on servo gears and bearing surfaces, and less battery drain.
I like about a 1/32" to 1/16" radius, depending on the size of the plane. It can be hardened with CA, works well in flight, and is not so thin that it's terribly fragile.
