going cheap in this hobby is a recipe for disaster. every time I tried to nickel and dime a situation it has always bit my in the rear. I had a box of elastics several years old and to save the 3 dollars on a new box I used them. 3 minutes in the bands broke and the wing came off boy am I glad I saved 3 dollars it helped me pay for the new plane.
