RE: Webra 32 blowing glow plugs
Hmm, about all I did for 20 years was run .36s in AMA combat fed off of high pressure bladders and controlled by a diaphram actuated pressure regulator. In short, the fuel delivery system was usually AOK, but plugs could still blow unless the compression was matched to the fuel and the climate. The best engines could be set at a slightly rich scream, the plane could look like it was sky writing with all the castor rich smoke pouring out, and you could still fry a plug in the middle of a round, but keep on going on diesel ignition [ at less rpm] till the fuel ran out.
