But that's what makes it a great hobby, learning the skills to build a great airplane. Arf's are ok if you want a cookie cutter model design. I built a kougar 20 years ago and I don't recall that much sanding. Nice finish though. That was the difficult part for me, keeping the weight down with the k&b epoxy paint.
Starting the hobby again in the last couple of years. Waiting for Bridiairplane Utter Chaos 40 in the mail.
