I just bought aerofly pro deluxe, and installed it. I connected the cable to a USB port, and it was recognized by my computer. When I start Aerofly, it says it can't find the cable! What do I do??? I just bought this!
Dear isaacsgs, Are you using a JR Tx? If so please check the following. I bought the DeLux 12 months ago and another (the JR version) for my son this week. I had the same problem with both. You may have one or both (if using JR Tx) problems. First, the signal from the tx is mono. The Tx plug on the USB cord was stereo, and both the signal and ground leads were connected to the two stereo (centre) active pins. You need a mono jack. Second, the JR TX is reverse polarity to Futaba etc. (stated in the Tx manual). When you wire the mono jack, the shielding should be connected to the centre (active) pin and the centre (shielded) wire connected to the earth (outer) lug. I was advised to reverse the connections by AFP when I emailed them about the problem the first time. My AFP DeLux runs like a dream. Hope this helps.
