Default RE: BVM KingCat for AFPD?

Thanks Guys

Hi Ian,

To answer your questions, I simply create my objects with an alpha channel assigned to the texture @ a setting of 50-60. This makes the object translucent so I can work over a picture, plan, or 3-way drawing. With the King Cat I just set one of the 3-ways Joe provided as the background and worked the wire frame over the drawing.
With the translucency I can see the background through the wire frame. I like to have a texture assigned to the object so I can rotate the object occasionally in order to make sure I like what I’m seeing. The wire frame alone gives me little depth or contour comprehension. Use F1 F2 and F3 keys to square up the wire frame on one of your three axes. I attached some images below to illustrate what I’m talking about.
I also like to create all my parts separate and then import them later into one model file. The Clone symmetric tool literally cut your time in half.

Hey Greg,

Thrust vectoring did go through my mind after flying Dietmar Kühn’s Harpoon "Freestyle" for AFPD. Might have to figure out how to configure the TMD file
