It IS a basic trainer. I have built many of the PT-40 and 60 kits for myself, and others over the years. what you will find is that GP seems to be useing denser wood lately and it makes the plane tail heavy. I have a OS 70 four stroke in one that I use to train people. I have cut litening holes in the rear fuse to take out some of the weight. Also if you want something that is more than a trainer use the wing spar connector that will give less dihedreal. (you have to cut it yourself) also be careful of the firewall area alot of people have a problem with it.( there is an alignment issue) if you cant find any plans let me know, I have a set I can send you. just PM me.
