Now is the RealFlight G3 Expantion Pack 1 the same as G3X or not, and what does it offer other than new plane, flying field & heli add ons. Just asking if someone could clear things up for me. Just wondering before I order the new add on.

The upcoming expansion pack is not related to G3X. It offers only what you have listed above. There will soon be a free update that will allow you to easily create and share G3X files, which can contain airports, recordings, and aircraft. If you wait for the free update, you will have unlimited access to custom-made aircraft that was never before available for G3.
