man, that BatWing is nice.. i think i will just have to get myself one of those

the one you see in the picture is designed and built by Richard Hamel, who is trully a genius in havving gotten that thing to fly, while maintaining 100% scale acuracy to the one in the movie. There are a number of unique airfoils incorporated into that wing to allow it to fly, maintain stability, and prevent weird stall conditions. The prototype has flown on a G62 with a prop, mounted to the nose leg mount bulkhead. The plane is surprisingly stable and smooth, and will even do the signature BatWing tail slide [8D] .. There will be one flying on a p180 for power some time mid this summer , and will likely be one of the only 2 or so that you will ever see .... thats all im going to say for now on this topic [8D]
