raineday, I too used to live in Swanna-nowhere before moving to Black Mtn.! Up in Buckeye Cove actually. The biggest problem around here is there's no place close to fly [:@]! I don't belong to a club yet but have been flying my small 1/2a stuff and motor gliders out of a hay field @ Warren Wilson college. They haven't hasseled me yet, and of course being an AMA member helps with insurance just in case I hit a cow or something ! I met a guy from this forum who flys with the club @ the old landfill in Woodfin. I'm going to join them and get some bigger stuff in the air this spring.
