Default RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP

I want to say first of all that I am really new at flying helis, like two days new. I tried posting these questions in the beginners forum, but did not get a responce. So, I was hoping some of you gurus wouldn't mind helping me out. I just bought a Blade CP two days ago. I am totally new to heli's, but have some experience with electric planes. I am following instructions from Radd's School of Rotary Flight. My question is this: When I slowly throttle up, he says the heli will want the tail to move right, and the heli itself to drift left.....only my tail wants to move left when given enough throttle to make the heli light on it's skids, not right. And, when I slowly move the rudder stick to the 3 o'clock position like he says to do, the heli's tail goes even more to the left. It makes me not want to go to the next step. I have not made it to a hover yet. The book talks about the proportional mixing, but only after hovering. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance. I have learned so much from this site already.
