The CF I'm using is the Dave Brown strips. I just cut the covering off where the CF is going, thick CA top and bottom. I only did it on the center section of the stab. I found a elevator torque rod with the control horn mounted on it, in my shop. So I replaced the factory rod with that one. Had to dig a bit into the trailing edge of the horizontal stab.......so running the CF the length of the stab, as planed, would not work. I'm not of any fear of it breaking now.

This plane goes together quick. If I had the motor here, I could have finished it yesterday.

Without the motor or muffler and with the CF gear I had on the UCD and all the radio gear, 3lbs. 10oz. So I figure 5 pounds RTF.
