Thanks for replying! I checked, and all switches on the TX are correct. The tail rotor also does turn counterclockwise. Could it be just a matter of it not being trimmed enough, and me being new, or should I start looking at small adjustments to the proportional mix? Thanks again.
Give enough throttle to get the heli light on the skids, note which way the nose turns, then power down and unplug the battery. If the nose turned right then turn the prop. dail to the left, if nose moved left then turn it to the right. Remember to adjust in very, very, small increments until you can get the heli light on the skids without the nose turning. Do this with the trims centered and a full battery, this should fix the prob.
You have to unplud the battery before every adjustment to the pot.
