Default RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36

ORIGINAL: Jeffff

Hey,

Here a hopeful future owner of the #36 . Normally I'm gonna order it tomorrow at Happitoys, hope nobody has had any bad experiences with them, together with a simple 11.1V 1800mah Lipo 12C battery.

First I was going to order it with a normal Walkera brushless motor and ESC and such but I've decided to wait after I spent a little time with it to see how it goes.
If everything goes well, I will probably order an Align motor and ESC and some other accessories.

I've seen some proud owners of the #36 here so hope to be one soon too .

Try tuning it up with the stock motor first.

If you can get it flying with the stock setup, and then switch over to the brushless setup, the latter will just be that much better.

Usuually you have to get all everything perfect for the stock motor to even lift the heli.

With a brushed/Lipo/Esc combo you may end up flying a heli that really needs some tuning.
