On the ST I've seen, the rudder was pull/pull and the deflection was clear until it hit the elevator. But I've also heard it doesn't matter that much because the rudder has so much athority that it will high alpha knife edge with about 1/2 throw. The plane can snap pretty easy though so you have to be a bit careful.

Your build looks really nice.

It snowed today, about 6 inches. Bummer.
