Come to think of it, the heli I had with an what I though was an aluminum shaft, was NOT a Walkera, it was one of those ALL CNC Tornado 400's.

It sure looked like aluminum, but I remember trying to bend it back into shape, and it was far stronger than aluminum.

The problem was that the ovoid cutout is the weakest portion of the shaft since there is so little metal there.

That part of it should be made from soething terribly strong, but it isn't. Even carbon steel doesn't cut it. It will bend too easily.

VERY Nice heli though.

I think I ended up installing a #36 shaft.
