Default RE: jet pack project

I ran my airstart AMT-USA AT-450's in the hangar at 30 degrees (and 6200' MSL) tonight. Propane had even cold-soaked in the hangar all day. Definitely not a problem.

I had my first balky start in almost a year Sunday. Turns out I had a fouled glow plug. Wire was OK, but lots of carbon buildup. Started fine with a new plug. That plug had 13 hours and 50 starts on it. Guess it was time for a new one. I put 45 minutes on the engines in one flight Sunday. Cruise is about 80 knots on 50% power.
