yNot...yes, you have to pull the motor...from above...do not have to remove the fuel tank...I've done this 3 times now [:@]. It all just bolts back up and you don't have to line anything up.
The tricky part is that spring that holds the muffler on.
...also...I meant AA batteries in that earlier post
Still waiting on my bump starter from this ebay dude...I gave up on the pull start.
Are you guys running your hi speed needle about 4 turns out and low about 12 turns out?
