Default RE: QUEST FOR SPEED

The outrigger hydro's hold the speed records in the water prop driven boats, there is no doubt that they are fast. Only thing with this style of boat is the turning, without a turn fin, it is hard to make anykind of a sharp turn at high speeds. On the water prop boats I can tell you the exact point for the cg and the placement of a turn fin, since I have never built a air prop driven outrigger, it would only be a guess on the placements. Good luck on your build, and don't give up on the outrigger hull. They are very unforgiven, but once all is dailed in, your not gonna find a boat that will get the blood moving as good as this boat.
