RE: G2300 low speed needle adjustment
I usually did it the same way on ST carburetors. I opened the throttle barrel about 25% leaned the idle needle to get the maximum rpm and then richened it up 1/4 of a turn for a good response from idle. It usually kept the engine running reliable and very little adjustments where needed from there. The spraybar was also rotated about 20degrees CCW from the stock position. But if your midrange is good then you dont need to rotate the spraybar.
