RE: G2300 low speed needle adjustment
Not24, Just listen to the engine, After you make adjustments to the low end, the sound of it will tell you if the adjustments you make had any effect.
I have been using this method on my low end for years. if you remove the fuel line while its idling, if the rpms increase as the engine quits, its telling you the low end is to rich. Or if the rpms go down-too lean.
Then follow it by reving up the engine. I do this on my engines at the beginning of each season and I may waste a tank full to get it dead on and then i don t need to screw with it for the rest of the season. Of course i check the high end everytime i fly but it works and very well.
This also tells me that if there is a problem, tuning is last on my list for things to check.
