what about fixing the wings?

Isn't it a very firmly fixing, using screws? In our Diablotin 2000, we use rubber-rings from wing to wing. Someone uses Festo-fasteners, which click together. What do you use?

The wing tube is rubbing because of the single cylinder motor vibrations and the black aluminium spreads out of the split all over the fuselage. How do prevent this appearence?

Is the original fixing save enough?
