The IMAC Northwest Region will run an familiarization program aimed at pilots who are new to IMAC or who may possibly be interested in IMAC. It will be targeted primarily at Basic pilots but is also open to pilots who choose to fly in other classes. The program will consist of two events. First, a one day (approximately 4 to 5 hours) classroom ground school and second, a one day practice contest. An individual may participate in either one or both. IMAC membership is not required for participation.
The purpose of the program is to introduce these pilots to the process involved in an IMAC weekend contest and, in addition, to provide any information, advice and counsel that may be relevant and useful for IMAC participation.
