An aft CG will make the plane sensitive to elevator inputs. A forward CG will make the plane less sensitive to elevator inputs. A good test is to roll the plane to inverted. If it dives sligtly it should be fine. If it climbs while inverted it is tail heavy and can become a problem landing.
