Hey Rob... I like yours:-)... Did you strenghten the fuse??.. I was going to take the
stripes off, the green came off easy but the the white was stubburn and I had blue
So..... Guess your tail wheel is the same as the V2... A bit soft... I had a carbon
fiber tube so I slit it down the center(almost) glued and pressed it on the tailwire
it seemed to help it a bit.. Did you ever weigh yours?? They should be lighter than
the V2... Mine came in at about 5# with the mini throttle servo HS85BB, HS 425's
and a HS 635HB on the rudder on 6v.. all stock equip. and a JR charge switch..
Ron, The only thing I did to strengthen the fuse was to fix the places on the fuse where the sheeting had disbonded from the side. I flies just fine though. I haven't weighed it either. I'll have to think of a way to do that. The new version has got to be heavier than the first but all around much better. I'm building an OMP Edge and doing the 2 piece wing conversion. I was going to put my Saito 72 on it but it doesn't look like the throttle will work out.
My Do is running really nice lately but I haven't had much chance to get out to fly. Lots of rain here.
