I noticed I had quite a bit of oil seeping from a few places on the muffler assembly (muffler assembly joint, bolt holes, engine mount joint). Sealing those with a little RTV assured that the oil was only coming outta the exhaust port and with the exhaust deflector, the oil deposited on my plane was reduced. You just need a touch of this stuff. Looking at my engine you cannot see any RTV from the outside.
