Default TRANNY PROBLEM

You guys need to check out the screw in the tranny that has backed out and caused the truck to lock up and/or not shift into second gear!!

I was running on Sunday at the track and after a tank I noticed the truck was NOT shifting into second.

I set it up on the bench to adjust the shift point and noticed it would not roll backwards and I could not spin the tranny to gain access to the adjustment hole.

After tearing the truck apart, I found the set screw NOT THE ADJUSTMENT SCREW had backed out and jambed.

I cleaned it up and re-installed with locktite. I also put locktite on the clutch bell screw on the tip of the engine shaft because it had started to back out!! I also locktited every possible screw.

Hope this helps!

Here is a photo of the part in question. The pencil points to the problem screw. Save yourself a headache and locktite it before you have a problem.
