Hitec 1/4 scale servos
Got a new FG Stadium Truck, running it in today, having a bit of fun, after about 45 minutes it starts going crazy. I killswitched it, had a look, and could smell burning. Get body off, and the HiTec Steering servo is smoking, with a hole in the base, so needless to say, I turned power off. Its a HiTec5475MG servo, from Kevs Racing Bits in the UK. Is this good enough to do the job, and would it be under warranty, ie would the LHS be honour bound to replace it? I've NEVER had a servo burn out on me, and I've had quite a few cars.......... Thanks in advance for any help. And is there any better I should be looking at? TX/RX is a Spektrum DSM, and yes, it was set up right.........[X(]
