RE: Trouble tuning my nitro rustler engine
Like most problem solving, it's faster and easier to read the instructions than to wait for answers. If you bought it new you have all the info you need. Not trying to be mean, it's just that so many of these threads are all the same about engine tuning. To many people buy a truck and get home and run the the poor thing to death without opening the instructions and wonder why their shiny new engine is toast, then read about breakin procedures and what not to do, then come on line asking for help. Not saying that is the case here, maybe you don't have instruction manual. Look through posts here about engine tuning and you will find 10 different opinions on what to do, most hogwash. Always tune from rich to lean on high speed needle after the engine is at operating temp. Then the low speed needle. If your engine isn't fully broken in according to directions, then don't even worry about tuning yet.
