ok i made a ramp 4 my emaxx and ive been juping it a lot but the ramp is only 2 feet high and i landed on the back tire and broke a hime joint and turn buckle i need to now wats the strongest replacement turnbuckle and hime joint. thnx for ure help!!!
To get back to his original questions the best setup to run in a maxx truck is to go with aluminum bulkheads, aluminum diff. cases (collars too), Lunsford Titanium Hinge Pins, RPM arms and rpm knuckles. You can also add on titanum turnbuckles if you keep snapping those too. When my customers come in and ask if they should do all aluminum after their first break I get them going on the above setup because it is strong in places that you don't want to replace. I would much rather spend a few minutes swapping arms for a few bucks vs. spending 4 times as long tearing in and replacing the bulkheads which can be $$$, plus all RPM products are guaranteed for life so hook them up to "unbreakable" aluminum and your set! So the setup I said above is in my opinion the best option for someone who doesn't have a shelf queen. Keep in mind though to stay away from aluminum arms because you'll regret it the first time you smack something and it breaks everything else it's connected to, so then you get all aluminum and then it only bends.
