I don't think there is any down thrust Ernie. I didn't tighten the bolts down very good, I just hand tightend two for these pics. One thing that is missing though, there is no right thrust. The mount is steal and it came with the kit. It's a little heavy but if memory serves me right, I think I'm going to need some weight up front but I'll have to bring up an old thread by "Bob Zar" to refresh my memory.
