Hi,

Move the tank so the centre line of the tank is roughly in line with the centre of the carby venturi, if you are unable to move the motor lower and still retain the thrust lines. One inch is too much for reliable fuel draw without a Perry or Cline pump or similar. If you can move neither the motor nor the tank you are looking at a fuel pump for reliable feed.
