Gday all

My mate has got a Vigor. He is having trouble with the tail rotor shaft. The two end fittings on this shaft are very difficult to fit onto the shaft. The manual just says to add some lubricant, slide the fittings onto the shaft and line the holes up. ONce thats done, just screw the two setscrews to secure it.

He cant seem to get the end fittings to push onto the shaft without resorting to a sledge hammer to push them on far enough. Is this normal, or what??

I would think that it should be quite easy to push on so that it can be taken off again easily if the need arises (crash).

Any input appreciated.
