Depends on how big the box is, if it's not that big, USPS mail will be the best as you'll only get nailed a $5 handling charge plus taxes at the border. If it's shipped UPS or Fedex you'll get a broker charge. This is based on the value of the item, I believe it is 7% also. I got nailed a $125 broker fee on my super bandit plus about $200 in taxes when it came up. Gotta love Canada customs. If you can afford the time, it's way less money to drive down and pick it up, this is because the cost of shipping a large item into Canada (or back to the US) is ridiculous. When my Eurosport was shipped to me, I had it shipped to a friend in Montana. Yes, it meant I had to drive 8 hours each way and pay for a hotel that night, but the cost to ship from Texas to Montana was $200, from Texas to Red Deer, Alberta was almost $2000!!!!! I made it a dual purpose trip tough, I had to ship my Spectre to Florida, cost me $143 to ship from montana to florida, it was just over $1500 to ship from Red Deer to florida. Being in the toronto area though, you can use Forward Air, that will be the absolute cheapest, you're lucky, I believe the only forward air center in Canada is in the toronto area. I'm having my Raptor shipped from NJ to Seattle via forward air, that's a big jet and I believe it's costing about $150. As luck would have it, now that I'm living in Abbotsford, BC it's only a 2 hour drive to go pick it up

btw, UPS.com Fedex.com USPS.com all have rate finders, if you know how big the box will be you can put in the dimensions, weight, and your postal code, and the shippers zip code and get a price on shipping, but it won't tell you what broker fee's or taxes will be.
