I just got off the phone with Horizon and I was going to order a velocity stack for my 100, they explained to me that Saito does not require them to go on this motor so thats why they are not Incorporated with the engine any longer!
Ok so no doubt guys it is a positive thing in most cases to help out maybe with economy and possibly idle to HP but I am reconsidering buying one if there is no need...Maybe I am wrong or maybe it is over kill to use one? The Tech told me they used to be needed on older saito engines due to the velocity of the wind around the carb intake, now the carb placement on the FA 100 is directly behind the piston/main body so maybe he is right? Heck I don't know but thought would pass this info on to all! Have fun and again this is just something i am passing on!
