Hey Graybeard thanks! Yeah the only reason I want to make the overlapped pieces is because the rays are big pieces of Monokote. I was trying to avoid weight because the plane is kind of heavy to begin with. I think I will start off with a .46 from T.H. and then once I get used to it like that try the Saito 82 I am getting for my Funtana. Would it really make a difference going with the insignia blue base and adding the rays over top?
