Default RE: Freebe engines

I have found a great source of weedie engines.......The gargage collector. A friend of mine knows a driver of a gargage collection truck. I can usually get more Ryobi weedies from him than I can haul for $5 each. In the spring, when everyone starts doing yard work, their weedie won't start and it's cheaper to buy a new one than pay for the repairs. The driver just picks them up from the curb and hangs them on the side of the truck, until he finishes his route, and then hauls them home. I bought 8 Ryobi engines last year and 5 of them started by just adding fresh gas and cleaning the plug. The other 3 had busted primer bulbs or cracked fuel lines. I think one may have had a broken pull cord. Now if I just had the time to convert all of them and build planes. I haven't found one yet, that was not repairable. I think the driver culls the ones that are in really bad shape.
