I'm going thru the same process right now with a Carden 35% 540. I have a DA100 and a 3W106
sitting around looking for a home which makes my quandry seem a bit silly but I also am considering
"stupid power". If you look at your requirements, you'll find that the ZDZ 160 Champion matches
perfectly which is where I am at the moment. For comparison purposes, I'm sure the ZDZ would
be rated around the 15 HP mark and would certainly require judicious use of maximum power to
keep from blowing the wings off but oh what fun it would be. I noticed in the last High Flight there
was a guy at Joe Nall with a Carden 35% 540 and a ZDZ 160 Champion installed. I've been trying
to track him down for some info but not having any luck. I've gotta get off the fence pretty soon as
Spring is approaching and my butt's getting sore. Let us know what you decide.
