Default RE: Bob Martin "Katie II" glider

Hey Rio...

Not for sale, but I still have mine from early eighties.....I skinned the wing with veneer instead of balsa and flew it just south of Funston in SF...she made a great trainer, slope diver out there....seems B.Martin is now building RC subs, guess maybe found a new app for that duralene??.....if you can get your hands on his Coyote that a bit smaller and quicker and fun to fly, if up for bit more speed...
But sounds like these guys got you covered...actually if rebuilding one use the veneer skin for the slopes, made a tough wing and weight is a plus on the coast most days....
