RE: Airworld Hawk Building thread
Took me a while to work it out but now that the glue has dried and the "scaffolding" removed the fit is near perfect. The center of the left side is just a tad inboard of the fuselage side, easily correctable by "padding" the location tongues.
A couple of points:
Do handle the canopy with great care it scratches easily.
Do notice the balsa spacer placed between the canopy ledges. This prevents the fusleage sides from bowing in when the long bits of balsa are used to hold the sides of the canopy against the frame.
Ready for some primer now ! Thats it for today, off to the beach ! (Sorry Brits !!!)
