I am converting a 30cc Homelite blower engine. If you check my thread you will find all the particulars. The blower shaft is not the same as the trimmer shaft! I am using the shaft out of another Homelite I have. The blower shaft is longer than the long trimmer shaft with a flat at the end and the threads are at the end. Any Homelite long shaft will fit and is tapped so it is easy to install a spinner. These blowers cost less than a new cylinder and piston and the new cylinders are much improved over the old ones. I am anxious to find out how they perform.
