The transfer ports on the old 30cc cylinder work on the 25cc crankcase, the port area on the case should be matched to the 30cc cylinder which is larger. I don't think the new cylinder will fit on the old case because of the size of the transfer ports.
The 30cc piston has windows above the wrist pin to compensate for the case obstructing the transfers.
