RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP
Im recommending carbon fiber blades to everyone....
The heli is much better behaved with them, the symmetrical blades have to terribible tendencies...
As soon as you can hover confidently, switch to carbon fiber, they are much more resiliant, about 7 or 8 crashes on mine, not a scuff on them. It should be noted though, that when you do crash, you are more likely to break other parts since the blade dosn't break, but its still cheaper than 15 a pop. Have a few extra small peices like the linkages that connect the blade grips to the head as they seem to come off more often now in a crash, and you will never find them...as well as getting another head assembly (like 5 bux) just to keep on hand, thats are what breaks normally...
Aside from that, i found another secret for anyone wanting to try something new. I had broke a tail boom, and not wanting to buy the whole frame/everything for 12 bucks just for the boom, i bought the gwq tailboom...same diameter, but its about 1/2 to 3/4 inch longer...this gives the tail a little more control (more leverage essentially), and that extra length in addition to the smaller direct-drive tail rotor...gives enough room to use the shogun blades...very nice...
