rabbitslayer You can get blades for less than $8.00 at balsa products or PE main blades for $3..75 at heli fever and in a few weeks I should have a few sets of ABS blades for $15.00 (a little heavier but wont shatter like carbon fiber). Will post when I try and give feed back

If you cut a few inches off blade covering and apply a thin CA it will soak into the balsa, you can then sand with fine grit. It will allow for more blade strikes before ends break and still hold in the lead weights. Make sure you balance before flight. The blades Balsa Products sells have been way off on weights but once CA is added and they R balanced they hold up great. I can now beat up the wifes furniture without problems.
