I ran my truck for a few more tanks yesterday. I switched to a duratrax gold plug, figured my original could be near the end of it's life, though truck was running fine. After the first tank, I decided to lean it out a big on the HSN. Then all of a sudden it started to stall whenever I hit the brakes. Seems like it was running good, sounded good, lots of power, but soon as I hit the brakes stalled. I'm no expert at tuning nitros. I tried richening it back up but same deal. When this happened to me last time during initial engine break in, I just reverted back to factory settings for HSN, it started then adjusted from there. It got dark so I ran out of time. Do you think the plug could be causing it or should I try richer/leaner? The temps were running fine, around 250F despite the cold weather. It definitely runs much better around 270F. I also have a hot plug I could try to get the temps higher or the foil I guess. Any thoughts are appreciated.
