We had an old family saying (that apparently nobody else had). When I was a kid. the terror that I was, my grandmother often yelled to me "Ne poussez pas l'ours! Ne poussez pas l'ours!. Don't poke the bear!" It means don't go looking for trouble, or that's a dangerous thing to do. When I flew with a repaird blade grip, I was poking the bear.
