As far as servo sizes go for .10-.15 size planes, here's what I've used in the past, and has worked for me...

I'll use Hitec numbers for size reference. I use HS-81 on the ailerons (two, one for each surface, simplifies linkage, too) and I use a HS-225 on the elevator. A HS-81 will be fine for the throttle, and depending on the plane design, the rudder can use either a HS-81 or HS-225, depending on how areobatic it's going to be... I use a 500 mah battery, and a Hitec 555 receiver (dual-conversion). The newer Electron 6 would be fine, too.
